I've raised £1500 to Help the Eden Suite at Heartlands Hospital to give other families, memories like the ones we've made with Jack, Lottie & Rosie XxX

On the 24th February 2018 we had an 8-week pregnancy scan. This scan revealed that we had 3 babies growing! We felt like the luckiest people alive!
Now a few months on we are feeling like the unluckiest parents alive. Having just lost all 3 beautiful babies through pre-term labour. Cat delivered all three babies, and all were alive, but shortly passed as they came just too soon.
Luckily Cat was checked and is ok physically, but mentally this is going to take us both a lot of time to get through. We are still taking it a day at a time, however there is no doubt that we wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for the Eden Suite ward at Heartlands hospital (Baby bereavement care).
This ward allowed us to make memories with our babies for a few days which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. They did this through both amazing care by mid-wives and support staff, but also using a machine called a cuddle-cot. This cot preserves the babies and allows these memories to be made, without this the time you get is extremely limited.
When we asked the staff how many they had available we were distraught to find out they only had 3 cots, between 2 major hospitals. I know one of the hospitals can unfortunately have up-to 5 families going through this in one day alone - therefore not all families get the opportunity that we had.
Due to this we want to raise funds to purchase another cuddle-cot for the ward to help the amazing staff, help other families in the future.
We don't really know how we will get through this ourselves, but right now we think that if we can help other people it might well help us.
Please donate whatever you can - it would mean a lot to us, the staff and the poor families in the future.
All our love,
Mike & Cat
