Joe and i are running the 2018 London Marathon, we both wanted to pick a charity which tackles modern day issues and educates the next generation of how to become a better all round society. Saltmine Trust does that exactly through the power of story telling.
Every year Saltmine Theatre Company work with 21 Local Education Authorities, performing in more than 270 schools, to over 54,000 students across The British Isles.
The Trust believe in the importance of educating the next generation and empowering them to make wise choices that will impact the rest of their lives. The Trust do this through inventive story-telling theatre and interactive workshops.
Half of our Theatre in Education repertoire tackles vital issues, such as internet safety, bullying, and extremism.
