Story
My name’s Jack (which if you’re reading this you probably already know,) and I may have brazenly overexaggerated my athletic abilities to the wrong crowd. That same crowd/individual has called my bluff and as a result, I am now running the Yorkshire Marathon in October. Yay.
So, with that being said I am planning to run really far and be bored for ages mainly fueled by spite, but in an effort to make this a bit more positive I’d like some of your money please towards a great cause which all donations will go directly too.
I will be raising money for the great charity CCLG via Seths super pledge page (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sethssuperpledge) .
Seth is a family friend who 9 months ago at 6 years old was diagnosed with a form of ‘Non Hodgkin Lymphoma’ and as a result spent the best part of 6 months in hospital.
Personally, running around being feral and carefree with my mates during my childhood meant everything to me growing up and the thought of any child having that taken away from them for any period of time is more than enough reason to drag myself around a course with a load of running nerds.
Thankfully Seth is now in remission and on top of that he and his family are trying to raise £20000 towards a charity that aims to help fund research towards finding cures, causes and less toxic treatments for childhood cancer victims.
So please help me put a little extra money in that pot and support a great cause.
