I've raised £1800 to Nanyuki Orphan and Community Youth teams to enter Diani Touch Rugby Tournament

Hello fellow rugby friends!
I'm currently working out in Kenya and whilst here I have been training with my local rugby team, Jackals RFC in Nanyuki. As well as a senior team, Jackals RFC also have several children’s teams; made up of children from local orphanages, schools and communities. This year we are looking to enter four teams, ranging from under 9s to under 15s, into the Diani Beach Rugby Tournament.
As well as entering the rugby tournament, the head coach is organising an educational trip prior to the tournament. Visiting sites such as Fort Jesus and the Shimoni caves, this will give the children (many of whom have never left Nanyuki) a valuable insight into Kenyan history.
The tournament itself also gives an oppurtunity for the children to offered scholarships to grammar and private secondary schools. The tournament is regularly attended by secondary school scouts who offer rugby scholarships to grammar and private schools for rugby players. Jackals RFC have been exceptionally fortunate with over 20 children being scouted in previous years; giving these children the valuable chance to break out of the poverty cycle they have endured in Nanyuki.
Every donation, no matter what amount, is greatly appreciated and will help hugely to getting these teams to the tournament and give them a chance of a scholarship and a better future.
