The Friends of Jack & Jill Schools (FJJS) is a committee of parents who work with staff at the Family of Schools to: fundraise for fantastic charities; bring together parents and staff across the Family of Schools; and provide social opportunities for parents to get to know each other.

One of the many things that makes the Jack & Jill Family of Schools special is the commitment of the entire parent, pupil and teaching community to raising money for local charities, and in doing so, increasing awareness of the important work they do. The Friends of Jack & Jill Schools is different from that at many schools in that ALL money raised goes directly to charity and not to the school.

For 2022-23, the following charities are being supported by the FJJS fundraising efforts:

Shooting Star Chase: a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

The Brain Tumour Charity: the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.

Zarach: a charity who deliver beds and basics such as food and clothing to children in poverty, to help families in crisis rise up from surviving to thriving so children can eat, sleep and learn.

The funds raised will pass directly to the FJJS and are then distributed to the two charities later in the year.
