Story
On Friday 31st May, we will be attempting to complete the National Three Peaks challenge. This involves hiking the three tallest peaks in the UK in under 24hours, consisting of Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England), and Snowdon (Wales). The total hike is 23miles (37km) long, ascending 3064m (10052ft), and requires driving 462 miles.
We are doing this in memory of Jack Denslow, cousin to Becca. Following a short battle with cancer, Jack sadly passed away on the 29th November 2018. The John Radcliffe Intensive Care Unit in Oxfordshire provided fantastic 24 hour care for Jack, and we would like to raise money as a thank you for their fantastic work.
Jack was loved by so many and will continue to be in our thoughts and hearts.
We would like to add our own thanks to everyone for donating to this cause.

5 years agoWe did it! Not the challenge, but finally a mountain hike with some beautiful weather! Becca set the pace, quick, as usual. I took us on an alternate route down, involving down a steep slope, ending with a couple of dirty bums. Oops! Our target was to be done on Scafell in 4 hours, and we did it in 2hrs55! It's not all been blue skies and quick climbs. Becca's recurrent foot problems have led to boot swaps and hospital stops! I have enjoyed the aches of a bad back for the last 3 weeks. We're now approaching the final hurdle, race day itself.

5 years agoWe had rain, hail and even bird poo come down on us during a training hike today, but that will not stop us. A good 15 miles hike was walked today. Big thank you for all the support and donations so far, it makes it all worth it! Becca & Adam
