I've raised £3000 to To Help pay for the Cruciate Ligament Surgery needed by Jack, our Rescue Dog

We found out yesterday 6th March, that our rescue dog Jack, aged 10 in June, needs an operation for a fully broken cruciate ligament in his left leg, following a fall in the garden last week. . We have had Jack for 7 years and he has done extremely well after spending the first 3 years of his life in a cage which did damage his health. .We have already spent out £380 on initial exploration and tablets and yesterday £550 on x-rays and further vet consultation. The operation he needs plus further vet consultation, x-rays and then hydrotherapy is expected to come to roughly £3000.
Jack has no insurance because of his particular start in life and the amount of unknowns he came with and that's been fine - until now. It is a fully broken Cruciate ligament and so an operation is the only option for his quality of life.
Embarrassing as it is to ask for help - I am reaching out to see if you can feel it possible to help with the costs for this operation and make a contribution to the cost - no matter how small it is. My heartfelt thanks if you can make a donation. We are just awaiting the operation date which will be carried out by a specialist in Bristol and all updates will be communicated to any doners.
We lost an old dog of 15 who was put to sleep 3 weeks ago and our other rescue dog has cancer and is under treatment as well so this has come both as an Unexpected health issue and an unexpected cost at a time when our vet costs have already been high and are being paid in full.
