I've raised £300 to help fund a chair lift at Jackie's Drop In, a social centre for adults with disabilities

Jackie’s Drop In is a social centre for adults with learning disabilities In Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire that was founded by Jackie Nealson in 2012.
As a carer herself, Jackie had realised that outside her hours, the clients she was working with had nowhere to go and very little support, and founded 'Jackie's Drop In' to provide a place for people with learning disabilities to go; to make friends and learn new skills. Starting with only 4 clients the centre has rapidly gained popularity, and now supports over 350 clients.
Their current building is on 2 separate floors to provide space for games, art, crafts and music. However, due to no escalator and the vast expense of a chair lift, only half the centre is accessible to wheelchair users.
Sydnie Grace, Jemma King and Scarlett Cooper-Wall are attempting a Tough Mudder Half on Saturday 19th May. We are looking for donations so we can support Jackie’s Drop In and contribute to a chair lift. Any donation is gratefully received and more information can be found on their website jackiesdropin.org.uk/ or by emailing Scarlett, scooperwall@gmail.com
