Story

Monday 30th October 2023

… after feeling unwell for a few weeks, Jacks parents decided to take him to the doctors for a check up after noticing alot of bruising on Jacks legs. The doctor sent them immediately to Watford General hospital. Later that evening they were given the devastating news that Jack has BCell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and he needed to be taken to Great Ormond St the next morning to start his long battle ahead.

After arriving at Great Ormond St, Jack had alot of tests and scans. After noticing Jacks right eye dropping slighty, Scans showed a small accumulation of leukaemia behind his eye.

Chemotherapy Treatment started the next day and will be intense for the first 28 days. In a short space of a few days, Jack had to have a lumber puncture and a port placed in his chest.

Jack was allowed home on Monday night (6th Nov) to be at home with his family and he will be going back and forth to Great Ormond St for treatment.

Jack is a Arsenal mad football fan who at the age of 6 has been diagnosed with Leukaemia, a form of cancer of the blood cells. Jack is a sporty lad who loves nothing more than to be outside playing an kicking a ball around with his little brother Lennon and cousin Ryan…. And his dad Luke is even allowed outside to play aslong as they all put shin pads on!

Sometimes Jack can also be found down loftus road with his dad luke watching QPR. Luke also worked on construction of the new QPR training ground for 2 years under the MBL Team.

If any of you reading this have ever had pleasure of meeting this amazing young boy then you will know how much he means to so many of us an how much these funds raised will help him an his family. The funds raised will be used as support for the whole family in a number of ways (financial stability, medical bills etc) meaning they can focus solely on Jack and his treatment and getting him better and back home where he belongs.

Jack has a long journey ahead of him but Throughout all of this, he has had a smile on his face and been a true champ!

Thank you for reading Jacks story. This page will be kept updated throughout his journey. Positive thoughts and prayers during this time are appreciated by all whom know and adore Jack.

On behalf of Luke, Lauren, Jack, Lennon, family and friends we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this wonderful family during this truly difficult time.

This page was set up by Luke and Lauren‘s Friends.

We have no real target set… we are all just trying to raise as much money as we possible can.

Thank you
