Story
Now that we are 4 weeks away from the London Marathon we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has donated towards diabetes uk. We have now raised our target amount and more for our charity places (£7944) It is so clear how special Jack was to so many people 🩵
We hope to continue fundraising as marathon weekend draws closer. Any further donations will now be going towards The Jack Riddington Foundation. A foundation set up in memory of our beloved Jack. Money raised will go towards charity’s and organisations that meant a lot to him. This year the Foundation has chosen to support children diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Bio from other page:
We take on the London marathon 2026 for Diabetes UK. As many of you will know, this is a charity extremely close to both of our hearts. Katherine’s husband and a very dear friend of Hannah’s, Jack Riddington had type 1 diabetes from the age of 2. Diabetes UK has always been a major support to Jack and his family. Jack was one of the first children to trial the insulin pump at the age of 4.
Jack sadly passed away on the 8th January 2024 after a very sudden brain hemorrhage at the age of 29. Jack was always enthusiastic for life, would take on any challenge and was a best friend to many.
We are running the marathon to honour Jack and give our appreciation to Diabetes UK. We hope the money raised can continue to help support families navigating life with diabetes.
Jack, we miss you every day and hope we do you proud.
Thank you so much for your support. It means so much.
