Weʼve raised £515 to support Acts of Kindness Community (Solent)

Funded on Thursday, 24th September 2020

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

I want to set myself a challenge. I've been enjoying my time out on my bike and decided I wanted to push myself further. I am aiming to ride the equivalent of the distance between Fratton Park and John O'Groats at the northern tip on mainland Scotland. I am aiming to complete my challenge during June 2020 so will need to ride around a marathon a day.

I want to give something to my local community during these difficult times so I have decided that any money I do manage to raise will be given to Acts of Kindness Community (Solent). They have been doing amazing work collecting and delivering supplies and support to those that need it. If you can spare anything for a donation it would be hugely appreciated.

I will keep you posted on my progress...…#jacksjunejourney

I am just about to set off on today's leg of my challenge.....my penultimate day. 672 miles down.....another 48 miles to go and then I've completed what I set out to do back on the 1st June which was to cycle a marathon every day. If I was doing it for real I would be up in the Highlands of Scotland now! I've totally smashed my original target of £100 for Acts Of Kindness Solent. I thought I'd share one last time before I reach my destination tomorrow.......Thanks for all the support. JB

Today I passed the 250 mile stage, this means I am over the third of the way there. This means in reality I would be on the outskirts of Manchester. I have really enjoyed continuing the progress as I complete over 24 miles a day. Through rain, sleet or shine I have loved doing this and cant wait to continue, I will update again on day 20. Thanks for all the donations and support for each and everyone of you and make sure you look out for me out and about and stay safe.
