Thanks everyone for your donations - we are going really well, but probably need another £100 or so to be able to get the tree and light it. I've emailed those on the estate who attended the residents meeting this week and will be putting a note through some doors with the justgiving address on. We have a tree coming - its £250 for a 22ft tree, and I have some helpers able to look at getting it put in the ground and secured. In the meantime the plans are coming together for Sunday 9 December at 4pm.
