I've raised £3000 to buy Jack a new lighter smaller more modern wheelchair

Jack was involved in a serious life threatening road accident which has left him with lie changing injuries. He's physically disabled and suffered a traumatic brain injury. He has gone through significant physical recovery and had to relearn how to do all basic tasks from telling the time to holding his pencil again. Learning to get dressed and tying his shoes. Life for him now is unrecognisable.
To maintain his independence, Jack needs a new wheelchair. The one he has is broken, heavy and too clunky for him to manoeuvre. It take a lot of effort to operate and a significant level of coordination to steer, which he finds difficult due to the brain injury. He has little sensation down the right side of his body, so its hard for him to grip things or turn the wheels of his existing chair. He wears a splint and has a built up shoe to make his legs the same length.
We have seen one that will satisfy the needs of the physical disability and help him cope with the demands of the brain injury. Being independent is really important to him but it's expensive and we are hoping to raise some finds to help. Every little helps. Thank you for any help that you can offer.
