During the October half term Jacob was watching the news and asked why people were raising money for to buy food for children. He didn't know some children did not have much food to eat at home.

He then asked if they would also get presents for Christmas. Of course Santa will bring them presents he then said, but will they get anything off mammy and daddy?

On hearing the news that in todays world and due to the year we have had some children might not have this luxury he said he wanted to help to raise funds so some mums and dads could give their child the present they want.

So, as a result he set up a running challenge to raise money.

Jacob is only 6 years old, but for the whole month of November he will run 5km every day, so at the end of the month he will have ran a total of 150km. He will run, not walk each day in all weathers to help raise as much money as he possibly can to help make childrens Christmas wish come true.

Please donate anything you can to help local children this year, and make what has been a terrible have a happy ending for some children at Christmas.
