Story
Locally to Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham, you may know the Walker family. They are currently supporting their son Jacob who is having treatment for Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).
This has turned their world upside down....
To support the family Joe, Sharon and Pauline are going to be running 5K each day in the month of December to raise money to go directly to the Walkers. Instead of the usual RED (run every day), we will rename the days Jacobs run 1,2,3 and so on.
This year has been rubbish for everyone, but for this particular family they have had this to cope with as well and its just not fair. Lets all pull together to raise money for them especially at this time of year so they can celebrate the new year in style and look forward to a bright positive future! :)

We are approaching £1500 in donations (some cash) and we can not thank you all enough for the support you have shown... Our last days are approaching and we are preparing for the last day in fancy dress Any ideas guys???? ❤️

3 years agoSo we had a challenge on today’s run to have a selfie with a stranger... I didn’t think joe and Shazza had agreed to do it and Joe actually admits he forgot but our Shazza showed us up this evening so me and Joe had to think creatively and fast 🤔 Joe claims ‘Nicola’ is a stranger- I suppose she is with a name like Nicola and not Natasha 😂 Mine guy is from the North East 😃 having his break from Lorry driving 15 MORE DAYS TO GO AND WE HAVE ALMOST REACHED OUR TARGET THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE SUPPORTED ❤️
