Throughout March, Jackie and Maeve from Without Wings, the Manx Autoimmune Arthritis Trust, IOM registered charity no. 1213 will be taking part in the charity's #BeKind2023 March challenge!

This means we need to complete one random act of kindness (at least!) every day from Without Wings' social media prompts (@withoutwingsiom on Facebook!).

We're doing this to promote the power of kindness, to support Ramsey Group Practice, our local GP surgery, and to RAISE MONEY to support Without Wings' counselling initiative.

This is in recognition of how these conditions can impact your overall life, and how crucial it is to therefore have emotional support to:

• Reduce stress, worry, depression and isolation.
• Help you stay more in control if you're affected.
• Reduce the negative effects of stress on the immune system.

This is because professional counselling can offer vital support if you're going through diagnosis, a major flare, or in any other way feeling isolated or vulnerable due to your diagnosis.*

Without Wings was established in 2016 to raise awareness and to provide useful information and compassionate funding for people in the Isle of Man affected by an autoimmune arthritis diagnosis.
