I've raised £300 to Help Ellon First Responders

Hi Folks
It's that time of year again when the Ythan Challenge is fast approaching. I managed to complete last years adventure with the help and support of my team, and in the euphoria of my achievement I signed up for the 2018 race as soon as the ticket sales went live - beginning to feel like it's complete madness now. This year we hope that the local folk of Ellon and the surrounding community will support us again. We have a team of 7 this year, Dawn Birnie, Lynne Edwards, Shona Carney, Karen Emslie, Diane Urquhart, Kirsten MacCallum and me(Jackie). Kirsten and I are still volunteering for the Ellon First Responders.
As a volunteer scheme we continue to need your support so that we buy the right kit to help someone. I said last year that"without a defibrillator we can't help to restart someones heart, without oxygen we can't help someone who is breathless, without a kit bag we can't carry all the supplies needed to help someone in an emergency situation". We all have busy lives but one day you or a loved one may need our help so please help us to raise much needed funds to buy the equipment we need to help folks in their hour of need.
The team of responders has grown over the last year and continues to consist of very caring individuals working hard as a team of volunteers alongside the Scottish Ambulance Service to help those in emergency health situations within our community. These amazing guys give up there free time, there weekends and they get out of bed in the middle of the night too to help make a difference, despite many of them holding down full time jobs and hectic family lives.
This team of fun loving runners are giving up there time to drag Kirsten and I around the course again all in aid of this fantastic cause. So as we are on the countdown for the big day please sponsor us so that the Ellon First Responders can make a difference.
