    Story

Myself and Rebekah Horton are trying to raise money for theatre space for our drama group.

We try to put on 2 shows per year but we are currently struggling to do so as we are lacking theatre space to rehearse at the moment. This money will go towards enabling us to rent somewhere more permanent so our rehearsals can continue.

Our drama group does a fantastic job in giving back confidence to those recovering from alcohol/drug abuse.

    -They have their opinions valued
-They are able to identify with their characters
-They are able to discuss sensitive issues openly

The goals of the our theatre production are to stimulate awareness, communication, and community activism in substance abuse prevention. It has been proven that, 1. the impact of drama can change attitudes toward substance abuse; and 2. the impact of drama can encourage community involvement in substance abuse prevention activities.

Our drama groups users have said they would be deeply saddened if the drama group was no longer available to them and we don't want that to be the case so, we need your help. We believe we offer so much support in their recovery and the loss of the drama group could be detrimental to their recovery.
