Hello everyone! My name is Jade-Lawri Jones, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to teach once again in the beautiful Philippines. I have been invited by the Shaping Futures to return to the SOS Children's Village in Lipa, where I previously taught and made a positive impact on the lives of the children there.

Teaching has always been my passion, and I strongly believe in the power of education to shape futures. It brings me immense joy to witness the growth and development of young minds as they explore new ideas, gain knowledge, and build their dreams. The experience of teaching in the Philippines last time was truly life-changing, and I am excited to embark on this journey again.

The children at Sos Children's Village come from underprivileged backgrounds, facing numerous challenges and traumas in their young lives. Many have experienced loss, poverty, and difficult circumstances that affect their emotional well-being and educational opportunities. Through teaching, I aim to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can heal, grow, and thrive.

However, I cannot do this alone. I need your support to make this possible. I have set a fundraising goal of £2000, which will contribute to covering my travel expenses, accommodation, teaching materials, and other necessary resources.
