My name is Jaden Jermy and I am 12 years old. I am looking to explore the possible part or full sponsorship opportunities through business's and/or funding/donations from individuals in order to reach my goal of playing at National and International level with the England Chess Team but also continue to develop to make my dream a career.

I started playing chess 5 years ago and really enjoyed the calmness of the game. I currently play locally for one club in Thetford and two clubs in Bury St Edmunds. Over recent years myself and my mum travel up and down the country competing in National tournaments.

I was recently invited to take part in a big London chess tournament after coming joint first in the under-11s category at a National tournament in Manchester - there were 45,000 applicants I got down to the last 200. At London I secured a norm (recognition of exceptional play ) in a 3-day chess tournament, 3 days, 3 games per day each game lasting 2-3 hours. I have just returned from a Closed England Competition, a trial for the England Squad. I am so please to announce I secured a place with the Junior England squad.
