We are collecting donations among the generous hearts towards buying new books to an empty library. We have received some donations from government which is only just enough for the building.

Our recent survey shows very shocking results as our children in Jaffna are performing very poor in their studies. If we don't act immediately, we will be losing the entire generation and we will be answerable for this worst situation.

After careful considerations, we have identified few steps that could be taken to focus on their future. Most of our team members agreed that bringing a library and engaging the children in reading will improve their appetite towards their education. We, living in foreign countries have witnessed the importance of reading habit and how the schools and other educational organisations are giving priorities towards reading. So, we decided to introduce a reading culture among the children. The first step is getting them interesting and useful books.

We are seeking your generousness towards our project to help the poor children. Every single penny is utilized towards this project as buying books or library equipment. This is a very strong promise from us. This donation is completely utilized for this library project only and will be completely exempted from any other expenses like transport or admin expenses.
