In order to reach my goal, I will be taking on a kayaking challenge called the Three Lakes. This is a 70km route in 24 hours starting on Loch Awe in Scotland moving down through Lake Windemere in England, and Lake Bala In Wales.

I am doing this in hopes of raising money for an expedition to South Africa with Raleigh International. It will be 3 months in length where I will be volunteering to benefit local communities, focused around finding sustainable solutions to issues such as poverty, low levels of education, food insecurity, and unemployment. As well as directly impacting the environment to restore healthy habitats by removing alien plants, indigenous tree planting, litter picking and road cleaning, to help accelerate the restoration of the wilderness.
