Hi! My name is Jaidan Cheema. I go to Lawrence Sheriff in Rugby and have been offered the once in a lifetime trip to go to the Indian Himalayas with World Challenge. I have to raise £3900 for my trip in July 2018. When I'm there, I will be doing a 7-11 day trek and helping a local community high up in the Himalayas where resources and funding is scarce. This could be in the form of helping build infrastructure for schools, repainting buildings or even building houses. The money will go towards the travel, accommodation, food and other essentials I will need for my trip. I really want to go on this trip to see how privilleged we are and how simply doing something small like repainting a building could bring so much joy and happiness to the local people. and see places in the world I would never otherwise get to see.
