Jaime and a number of other students from Stanchester Academy have committed to completing a 12 month programme of planning, money management and training in preparation for a life changing expedition to Malawi in the summer of 2018. In the summer of 2018 the team will depart from the UK accompanied by two Stanchester teachers. Throughout the expedition the students will rotate roles such as leader, accountant, cook, health and safety officer and transport coordinator to operate efficiently as a team. The Stanchester Academy students will plan the full itinerary for the 4 week expedition. Particular efforts are being made within the project phase of the World Challenge which will contribute to the needs of the local Malawi community as much as possible. This will include either renovating a local school, establishing a clean water supply or working on conservation.
