I'm raising £10000 to help Jake Davidson play on the Junior World Table Tennis Tour - Come and join the journey

Jake Davidson is a passionate young table tennis player, just 14 years old, and he is proud to share that he is currently ranked no. 3 in England in the u15 age group, as of April 2025. He is also part of the England Table Tennis Squad.
This achievement has now opened up an incredible once in a lifetime opportunity for him to compete on the World Youth Table Tennis Tour - but he needs your help to make it happen.
View him in action
He has been playing table tennis for a few years and currently trains about 15 hours a week, which includes table practice and physical exercise away from the table to help with his strength and stamina. At weekends, he travels around the country to play in national tournaments and international events, all in addition to balancing his regular school work and studies.
Jake has played a few events on the world tour before and has a career high of 184 in Europe, however, he has been unable to make significant progress as he needs to play abroad on a regular basis to gain the experience and increase his level of play in competitions. The financial cost of the events, coaching and travel is a big expense and this is where your support will help him and he wants you to become part of his journey.
Jake's recent performances have shown excellent national results for the season 2024-2025 and have earned him multiple Gold medals and titles including the following :
- England Ranked number 3
- Bronze Medal - Boys u15 - Table Tennis England National Champs
- Silver Medal - Boys u16 - National Schools Championships
- Gold Medal National Series Winner - An invite for England's top u15 players
- Gold Medal Winner - Boys u15 - Cambridge 4-Star Open
- Gold Medal Winner - Boys u15 - Plymouth 4-Star Open
- Gold Medal Winner - Boys u17 - Band 1 - Grantham Open
- A team player with "Bristol TT Academy" - Team of the weekend at Junior British League.
Plus a host of other local tournaments in Gloucestershire that have included Silver in the Men's Championships and Gold in the u19 Juniors, and claiming the number 1 Gloucestershire junior ranking.
With your support, he aims to build on his success from the past year by participating in more World Youth Table Tennis (WTT) events across Europe over the next 12 months, that could shape his future.. This journey is not just about competition; it’s about him reaching his full potential and inspiring others along the way, which he intends to share via his story, on the events and places he visits through his social media accounts.
To make Jake's dream a reality, he is seeking 100 people to donate just £20 each month, ongoing, to help be part of his journey. He is also grateful to those people that would also like to make just a contribution in a bid to raise £10,000 needed for a year of expenses.
Your contributions will help cover, flights, accommodation, travel expenses, training camps, tournament entry fees and any additional support needed to reach these competitions.
Remember this isn't just about funding competitions—it's about helping a talented young athlete reach his potential. With your help, Jake can represent England on the international stage—and maybe even reach the Olympics which is his dream. .
