Helping Local Communities in Tanzania, Africa

I have been given the opportunity through my school to go on an expedition to Tanzania, in 2017, with Camps International. Whilst there I will be helping to improve the quality of life for local communities. As a group we could be building; making school furniture; painting school furniture or even constructing water tanks or digging wells. All work will be to benefit the local communities based upon their current needs. We will also be involved in several environmental and wildlife conservation projects such as helping to restore and protect some of Tanzania’s most vulnerable habitats and animals.

To make this project a reality I will need some help from the generous people of the world, contributing towards the costs involved. My goal is to raise £3,940. Apart from this crowd funding project I am doing other tasks which help to raise the money. My Mum is knitting lots of woolly hats for sale, I’ll be making and selling gourmet chocolate boxes (with Dad’s help), I’m getting sponsorship for shaving off all my hair (it’s pretty long now), and I’m trying to find a part time job.
