Story

On Friday 15th August 2025 Jake made his final journey in this World surrounded by the immense love and support of all those around him.

It was a beautiful and moving service attended by all those who loved Jake; everyone wore purple which was Jake’s favourite colour and then gathered together after to remember the good times they had shared.

Jodie, Richard and the boys have been overwhelmed and humbled by the love and support shown to them during this time. The Celebrant offered thanks on behalf of the family to those who had contributed to this fund. Not only has the money been an amazing help towards the extortionate funeral costs, but also the fact the not only friends and family, but also people who had never met Jake, even complete strangers were willing to help.

Knowing how much people care has been a great comfort to the family, and will continue to give them strength in the days ahead.

This fund will now be closed, but if there is anybody who wanted to donate but did not have chance, please contact Jodie or Richard directly.

From the bottom of all our hearts …… thank you xx

Message from Jodie:

It's with such a heavy heart I'm writing this 😩 but our beautiful baby Jake Larmour has been taken from us in such horrific circumstances. He was celebrating his 18th birthday over a week ago with his family and now his family are arranging his funeral. Words cant describe how we are feeling. Our beautiful Jakey was involved in a horrific car crash after climbing Ben Nevis. Those that knew him know he loved exploring. Please let us grieve, I know you all care and love Jakey as much as we do. Fly high my darling Jakey!
