I am planning on spending six weeks in Lusaka ( Zambian capital) to work with local volunteers, developing community sport programmes and health awareness workshops with the most deprived areas of the city's compounds. Through the provision of sport we aim to encourage children and young people to sessions that can be used as a medium to develop motivation, self-development and self-reliance and help improve the quality of their lives. This will hopefully led them to combat the high levels of unemployment, crime and health risks like HIV and AIDS.

I will working along side Zambian non-government organisation, Sport in Action to run a wide range of sport and physical activities, whilst developing the relationships between the NGO and the Lusaka schools and communities.

Plus I am running the Bath Half Marathon in March as part of the fundraising.
