Story

Assalamualaikum,

I am currently living with my family in the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul. There is panic and fear in the city. Shops are closing and the cost of living has gone up. The healthcare system is overstretched and there is little hope in Afghanistan’s government to bail out companies and people during the lock down due to the coronavirus. The peak of the coronavirus spread in Afghanistan is imminent as people have fled from Iran and there are more and more cases every day.

I intend to donate the money to those families who are struggling because of the coronavirus or otherwise, by purchasing the necessities needed for them to live. I will be providing packs of flour, rice, oil, sugar and AF1000 so they can survive.

I will be minimising the contact I have with other individuals in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus but I will post pictures of the receipts and produce I buy to show the outcomes of your generosities inshAllah.

A small amount goes a long way in Afghanistan and these basic necessities will have a massive impact to the struggling families.

JazakAllah khair and May God reward you with goodness
