Buidafuture is a group of eight, 6th Form Business A level students at Stanborough School who are taking part in the Welwyn Hatfield Dragons Apprentice Challenge 2016/17. We are raising money on behalf of Herts Young Homeless Charity.

In order to raise as much money as we can for HYH, I have agreed to have my huge afro shaved off if we can reach a total of £1000. Dig deep people for this fantastic worthwhile cause as I have refused to have my hair cut for 3 years up until now !!!

Herts Young Homeless in a Charity that works with young people aged 16-24 who have had difficulty in securing and maintaining safe, secure accommodation. We recognise the importance of preventing homeless situations arising, particularly involving young people. We provide mediation, education and other specialist prevention services with the aim of avoiding the misery of a breakdown in family relationships. Of course, this is not always possible, and in those cases, we aim to help the young people in finding secure safe accommodation.
Homelessness can often lead to, and indeed result from, issues of drug and alcohol dependency and poor mental health. Our experts in these areas work with people of all ages to support them in overcoming these challenges
