Story
We are attempting to bike the length of Britain from Lands End to John O Groats for a good cause starting on the 2nd July 2023 - 1189 miles (1913km)
Big thanks to Charlie Riding, Steve Rudall and Daniel Walker who will be joining the ride and the Murchie and Burford family supporting along the way!
The Kely Group is a Hong Kong-based nonprofit organisation whose mission since 1991 is to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to support themselves and each other. The core focus areas: Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Mental Health & Wellbeing, and Positive Youth Development.
The Blendworth Centre offers its service users a work orientated placement in a semi-sheltered environment, situated in Hampshire. The Centre aims to develop and support individual goals, encourage friendships, raise self-esteem and promote confidence and independence.

1 year agoWe bloody did it! Thanks to Alex organising, Richards navigation and Charlie's support we got to Jon o Groats and we're cheered in by the support crew. After a slow wet start and a quick brew from Sandra MacBollock the wind was behind us for a pretty quick day through the Highlands and we met our biking buddy Tony who also started and finished at the same time.

1 year agoAnother cold wet day into a place called Tongue where we met the support team. Having an early celebration in a nice hotel before the last push tomorrow. We stopped in a pub with a fire for a whiskey which saved us from the cold temp and dried our feet.

1 year agoA great ride on along the great glen and a dunk in Loch Ness. We ended up in a great bar in the Highlands - The Station where they played Charlie's favourite song, Dignity. Heading to the most Northern Coast of Britain in the morning. Heavy rain today rendered our chains rusty but we met our first other biker doing the same route. Tony wears a pair of Shimano sandals and very little in the cold air which puts us to shame.
