What is crowdfunding?

Story
This is to help me and my friends go to Nicaragua on a one off experience to help people less fortunate than ourselves
What we will be doing:
We will be taking cookers over which stop smoke coming out which will cause less death. We will also be helping be building a school for the younger generations
