Story

Hello, thanks for showing an interest in our JustGiving page.

In September 2023 James Durie and Zara Brewer are cycling 225 miles from Lands End to Bristol to raise at least £5,000 to help some of the most disadvantaged kids in the country who live in South Bristol.

We're riding to supported Community of Purpose CIC (CoP) a brilliant local organisation who undertake fantastic work to help tackle holiday hunger & other activities to support the poorest children & families across our home city of Bristol.

Raising £5,000 (& we hope more!) will enable them to offer 166 places on CoP's "Break Free" holiday hunger programme over the next year.

Please can you help us by sponsoring and supporting our gruelling challenge which takes places over 4 days from 11th to 14th September?

From experience we know CoP is one of the most effective & powerful organisations supporting & equipping young people to have strong healthy futures.

Last month James was lucky enough to volunteer on the 'Break Free' school holiday programme and saw how through the support of brilliant business and individuals with purpose CoP is transforming the lives of young people across the Bristol area.

CoP run two other brilliant programmes supporting young people in Bristol - Bristol Together Championships & the annual Bristol Young Heroes Awards. For more information https://communityofpurpose.com/
