Hello everybody!

On the 22 May 2022, I will be taking part in the Hackney Half Marathon to raise money for Verity Grainger. Verity has a very rare genetic condition called MNGIE (mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalomyopathy). There are only 200 documented people in the world with this life threatening condition. Sadly, V’s sister passed away with MNGIE last year. Enzyme replacement therapy is the only safe treatment option available for V. However, this treatment comes at a cost - £500k. V’s friends and family are all pulling together to reach this target with a variety of fundraising events.
