Story
On the 18th of April, James was training for a triathlon with Swansea University when he crashed into the back of a bin lorry, breaking his spine and damaging his spinal cord. He had major spinal surgery in Cardiff to put his bones back together and has since been in Salisbury Spinal Injury Unit continuing his rehab. James has always been an active, sporty person - having played 13 seasons of rugby and recently starting triathlons. Whilst at hospital, he has been able to explore a couple sports such as wheelchair rugby, tennis and table-tennis. His goal is to be as active as possible when he leaves the the hospital on the 30th August. This will hopefully include being able to play the sports he likes, go for 'walks' with his family or even just a 'stroll' on the beach. All the money raised here will go towards different wheelchairs, adaptations or any other support/equipment that can help him live a full, wheelchair-bound life - post discharge. We would really appreciate any contributions - however big or small. Thank you so much.
