Starting in March 2017, I plan to join the Special Olympics team to the World Winter Games in Austria. Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing year-round training and competitions to more than 5.3 million athletes in nearly 170 countries. Whilst there is a lot of media attention around the Olympics and the Paralympics, the Special Olympics does not and that’s the reason I became involved as a volunteer and use my photography and media skills for a good cause.

The athletes places are funded by the Special Olympics Charity but the place of a volunteer is not and it is down to the volunteer to raise the funds themselves.

Emma McMenamin and John Kivlahan from the Special Olympics Ulster has provisionally secured my place but I have a very short time to raise the funds needed and I need your help, FAST!

My target is £2700 and with your help I will be able to reach this goal.
