Story

100,000kg Total Lift! Nov 2021

As our Community grows, and more local people engage with NWK Maidstone, it becomes imperative that we focus on ensuring their Health and Wellbeing is paramount at all times. Recent events have shown that the benefits of having a Defibrillator (AED) close to hand can be a literal lifesaver!

Not only will this be available for our immediate community and members, but also for the other local Businesses in the surrounding area. Once it is in place, it can be registered and put onto the Local NHS database which will help support anyone in need.

Having suffered a mini-stroke myself 10 years ago, I know the importance of having this sort of immediate response and how it can save lives. And prior to that event, I have seen and used these devices on comrades whilst serving overseas in the Forces. It has quite literally saved Lives!

I hope you can help me make this happen, and make our environment a little safer.

I will take on the Challenge of lifting 100,000 Kilograms using only a Barbell in under 8 Hours, just using 5 Exercises: Deadlift, Squat, Benchpress, Snatch and Clean and Jerk!
