Meet Owen

He's had the Call to the World Championships in Brazil 🇧🇷!!!

A British, English and Swedish Champion, JKS England National Squad Member, and EKNGB English Young Lion.

For the past two years, Owen has dedicated an incredible amount of time, effort and personal sacrifice to pursuing his karate ambitions. While many weekends are spent relaxing with friends and family, Owen is often on the road, travelling the length and breadth of the country to test himself against the very best competitors on the UK circuit.

His journey has already taken him across England, Wales, Scotland, Sweden and Germany. Now, it is taking him even further.

Owen has been selected to represent JKS England at the JKS World Championships in Brazil — an achievement that reflects years of hard work, discipline and commitment.

For more than 16 years, The Bunbu Dojo has proudly supported young students in their pursuit of karate excellence. Throughout that time, we have never asked for financial support. However, the opportunity to compete on the world stage comes with significant costs, and we would love your help in making this dream possible.
