I'm a step dad trying to do my bit. I want to raise £10,000 of the total £60,00 needed to pay for Violet's surgery.

This is a little different to a normal just giving plea. I’m raising money so Violet, can have the spine correction surgery she urgently needs. The procedure she needs isn’t available on the NHS so we have to find a way to fund it ourselves. So here goes and please bear with me (gulps!) .

I spent years in the late 80’s and early 90’s dj’ing in and around Manchester and Stoke for a Rave promoter known as New Dawn. We had a few good club nights at Rockworld, the Limit, and the Gallery. We also had a regular Sunday night show on Signal Radio, New Dawn - Meeting of the Minds.

I have kept about 500 records which are my personal favourites, some of which are quite sought after - most of the records in the video are still in my possession.

To raise funds I am going to give ALL of them away. I’ll even deliver them personally (UK Mainland only) and throw in a couple of record boxes. (I won't be needing them anymore)

Discogs collection valuation is between £1,456.28 and £6,026.60 based on previous prices. All records are used. I have looked after them as well as I can but many of these have been gigged. There will be some surface marks and crackles, but overall they are in good condition. The only issues I am aware of are 1. DJ Nipper “ Now that’s what I call a bootleg” has a BIG click in it VERY BIG so don’t enter just to get hold of this! And 2. Asha “JJ Tribute” which is absolutely ruined and unplayable!!
