Story

Hi to everyone this year .

I'm not doing a kiltwalk this year as there is no virtual kiltwalks so I thought I would do a separate one to collect funds for the neuro physiotherapy specialists that I have been and continue to use. They are based in Elgin and are called MOVE4WARD. They are self funded and they achieve the most remarkable results so I would ask you to check out their website and see the remarkable work they do in giving their clients back a much better life.

For myself, on my third visit they had me up on my feet standing, something I had not done for 4 years. I continue to progress and have been able to stand for 25minutes with their help and encouragement. My aim is to continue to improve so that I can transfer from a chair to a wheelchair or bed. They depend on donations to purchase their equipment so hence my choice of fundraising for them this year.

I am going to do part of the Dava Way, going from Forres for 9 miles across the moor on my trusty steed hopefully sometime in June in the wamer weather.I will give an exact date later. Any spare pennies you have, I would gratefully appreciate it to help them out. The next piece of equipment they hope to purchase is Arjo Sara Stedy which is an enhanced patient transfer aid. All equipment aids are quite an expense but would benefit so many of their clients including myself. Thank you
