I have decided to step away from the biscuit tin and take part in the Great Scottish Run. This will be my first organised 10K run. I want to raise funds for Poverty Relief run by the Glasgow Central Mosque. The money will be used to help them continue their weekly food kitchen and continue to supply over 100 food parcels each week to asylum seekers and refugees in Glasgow. it is a project which is close to the heart of my friend and colleague, Umar Hussain, who works hard volunteering and raising money.
