I've raised £300 to Support students going to Kenya to build shelters, support with education and improve the daily lives of Kenyan people.

I'm a teacher of a secondary school in Kent. There are many students in the school who are willing to go out to Kenya and support the people there for a month during the summer of 2018. The students have to raise a minimum of £3600 pounds to do so. Whilst out there they will be building houses, helping with education, making clean and sustainable food and water, helping with healthcare and sanitation, protecting the environment and helping create sustainable livelihoods for local communities. The donations provided will go to help the people of Kenya and benefit those who are willing to give up their time to make a difference.
I will be raising money by running many different events over the next year. On the 23rd and 24th September 2017, I will be running the 50 Mile Surrey Hills Challenge event that involves map reading and night running. I am also doing this with another teacher at the school, Mr Williams. This is the biggest run of my life and will involve many hours of training to prepare for the challenge.
Please sponsor me as the money will go to the students of Wrotham School, to help them reach their target, and support the people of Kenya.
