- Funded on Sunday, 1st January 2017
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
As you may know In October I will be starting seminary at Durham University with the aim to gain a degree in Theology, Ministry and Mission. The course will be 3 years and within the course we have a church placement where we can gain ministry experience. I will be working for my home church The Vine. Unfortunately they do not have the money to be able to pay me and because of the placement I have no time to get a part time job to help fund my course fees and just general expenses.
I have been blessed to receive bursaries that bring the fees down to £2,000 but that is still a lot of money with me not having a job or able to get one.
I am writing this to ask if you would consider joining and supporting me in the start of my ministry. I am hoping to raise £200 a month. If you could give anything at all whether that is a one off donation or a monthly contribution I would be forever grateful as I look to follow the call of ministry God has on my life.
If you can't donate I would love it if you could be praying for me throughout this journey as it's going to stretch me more than I've ever been stretched and test me more than I have ever been tested. I'm excited about this new chapter but also extremely nervous as I start this journey and my ministry.
Thank you so much for partnering with me on this exciting new chapter
Blessings
James
