Hello, we are a family from England looking to fund emergency mandibulectomy surgery for our beloved black labrador, James. In the last year, James has started experiencing recurring tumours growing in his jaw which he is on permanent antibiotics for. Due to the location of these growths, an operation is essential to prevent fatal infection and the spreading of more tumours. The operation would involve removing the small part of his jaw causing these tumours, meaning he could live the rest of life without the fear of regrowth.

Recently, a vetinary bone specialist kindly gave us a free consultation, in which he confirmed James as otherwise being healthy and relatively young in life. He was also confident that the operation needed could be carried out successfully and would significantly extend his life.

We are not eligible for charity support but also have no means to fund the urgent treatment needed, so are turning to crowd funding with the hope that fellow animal-lovers can help save James. Our dog is still so full of vitality and strength so we feel that to put him down is not an option.

£3000 would cover the entire costs of his medical procedures. If we could raise just £500 we would be able to get his treatment rolling by giving him a biopsy, giving him a fighting chance.
