Story

Me and my collegues are currently fundraising for our work colleague and friend James Gibson who discovered he had an AVM in late 2017 but fortunatly it hadn't bled, If it had he would of lost his life. Through the time of being diagnosed James lost movement in the right side of his body. His case was unique but they decided to embolism the AVM but by doing so James haemorrhaged so they had to do a emergency craniotomy, This saved his life. He is currently still in hospital and it will be a long road to recovery as he learns to talk and walk again. We want to raise funds so it can fund James long term care. We are doing this by currently arranging a sponsored walk at the Kinder Scout and doing a bake sale with cakes being donated locally. We also plan to do a raffle and hoping local businesses can help by donating.

Thank you for reading.
