Story
James MacKintosh is one of Scotland's greatest drummers performing regularly with bands like Shooglenifty, Transatlantic Sessions, Grit Orchestra, Capercaillie, Kaela Rowan Band amongst many others. James is not only highly respected but much loved by his colleagues and peers. James is struggling with a serious leg infection which has put him in Intensive Care and through several operations all ready. Through this illness James has already missed a load of work as has his wife singer Kaela Rowan. Please help James and Kaela by donating what you can to help them through this difficult time.

8 years agoHello lovely Pals, James has been doing really well & going from strength to strength with the amazing care of the ward 18 staff, in St. John's Livingston. He had a fairly major corrective op on Friday (his 6th op!) and today they are saying they are very happy with how it's taking, Woohoo! He's now off all things intravenous, hurray! And they say if he carries on like this, he may even get home early next week, wow!!! Thanks so very much once again. When things were looking pretty grim, it really held us.
