James has set his Summer 2018 Swim Challenge!
To help raise money to support Flixton Swim Team, he will be swimming as far as he can over the next few months.

He aims to swim 33km - the distance across the English Channel. But every metre he does counts - training sessions, swim camp & extra swims he can fit in!

James has chosen the distance and his fundraising target.
So sponsoring him for every km he does, or just a small total amount will help encourage him.

Mum, Dad & Eleanor will be very very very busy counting his lengths during his Flixton Swim Team training sessions and many others over the school holidays and beyond!
Lets hope we dont loose count!!!!

Flixton Swim Team is local swimming club based at Urmston Leisure Centre in Trafford. The team is run mainly by volunteers who help week in week out in supporting and encouraging the swimmers to improve their times and stroke technique. The money raised will go towards kit for the team, and costs of using the pool.
Their head coach is hugely enouraging for all the children. Even coming along to support 4 swimmers at a triathlon which really encourage them. Hes even come along when only James has gone to an open water swimming session. This sponsored swim is James' (and our way) of helping out and showing how much we appreciate the work they do!
