I've raised £2500 to help NoPanic make sure no one suffers panic attacks alone

Unfortunately not with a girl, but with panic attacks.
We first met when i was about 11 or 12, but things got so toxic that i had to move school to get away. We unfollowed each other for about a decade and got the space we needed before we bumped into each other when i started work after uni. We flirted for a bit but i managed to ghost them until the back end of last year when things started to really heat up during cuffing season.
Things got so serious in between us that i stopped work, cancelled plans with mates and even bailed on a trip abroad to spend time together.
We went on some wild dates during the last few months of 2023.
We met at the office and i got so drunk on anxiety i thought i was gonna vom on my desk and had to run outside for a TC.
One night things got so out of hand i ended up in A&E at 2am with uncontrollable shakes.
We went on a romantic trip to Madrid together where on the first night things went so south that even some (seriously out of date) valiums couldn't calm things down and i had to bail on the 6am flight back to London.
And then when i thought we'd finally split up they turned up at mine on Christmas Day and that morning can only be described as 15 post-Glasto Mondays condensed into 2 hours.
In all seriousness though, i'm getting the help i need and am way more in control of things now. A huge part of that has been the friends, family and support i had around me.
I had a boss who took me for a walk and got me out of my own head and supported me with the time off i needed.
I had a best mate who got out of bed and took me to A&E in the middle of the night.
I had a mum who picked up a random call at 4am from a Spanish phone number.
I had a dog (pictured below to try and guilt you into donating; works on dating apps apparently….) who got me out of my festive funk.
Not everyone has that support and i genuinely don't know where i'd be without it. Thats why i'm running the Copenhagen Marathon in May on behalf of NoPanic, a small UK charity who have a helpline for people suffering panic attacks so that no one has to go through them alone.
They also do a tonne more which you can read about here https://nopanic.org.uk/
If you have any money to give it would mean the world (my work will double everything we raise) and I promise it will all go to the charity and not on hideously expensive finishing line pints.
If you can't give cash I would love running company as i slog it around London during training. Shout out to Mark and Lorns in the pic for being the first.
Lots of love,
Jamie (+ Rocky)
Also just realised i set this up as crowdfunder not a charity fundraiser and you can't change it after the fact - when i donate I can claim GiftAid for all your donations in one go xxx
