Eddie Wolecki Black suffered a massive stroke on match day 5th March 2016. With his wife, Emma, due to give birth to their first child, the future looked very bleak. As head coach of Airdrie, Eddie was on the path to fulfilling his ambition of reaching the top of the game as a football manager. One of Scotlands' brightest emerging managers one minute, fighting for his life the next. Eddie, 15 months on, is working hard in his rehabilitation but recovery is slow. He is determined to live a long and fulfilling life with his young family. He also continues to pursue his career path to coach and manage at the elite level. There is a treatment in the US that has had profound effects on stroke victims recovery. It is an anti inflammatory drug called ETANERCEPT that is injected into the spinal fluid whilst hanging upside down. Political analyst Andrew Marr has been a recipient of the treatment and has noted subtle changes and improvements if not as profound as others. The treatment, travel and accommodation are of course expensive and will cost an estimated £10,000. We are asking those of you who know
Eddie and would like to see him receive this treatment to make a donation to help him on his road to recovery. This treatment could be life changing.

My name is Jamie and I am doing this for Eddie not only to see him on the road to recovery but also to hopefully give back to a man and a family who have given so much to me, as a coach but more importantly as a person.
