On the 20th of January 2017 Tyler was taken into Hartlepool Urgent Care because of his cough, once he was seen his mother expressed her concerns about his eating and bruising easily. The nurses checked over Tyler body cause him to become very stressed. After a few hours of the nurses just leaving then in a room they came back with a doctor and expressed there concerns about the bruises and were convinced that tyler had been getting corrected by someone. Ovbiously furious they sat around waiting while the burses phone social services ect. Evenutally they were referred to north tees. They arrived at north tees late into the next morning, were there was more test and questions carried out. 4 hours later they left them to sleep. The next day another doctor came in ran some more tests and monitored how tyler and his mother were together, once they noticed that the bond was very special they said they knew no harm had been inflicted so wanted to run some bloods. After 5 hours of waiting the doctor came in and devastatingly brought the news that the onconogly team had found leakuemina cells in tylers blood.

They when then referred to Newcastle RVI when more test were carried out days by the fantastic team there. On the 22nd there consultant came in and said that tyler had acute lymphoblastic leaukemia and would need alot of chemotherphy and treatment that would last min 3 years. Since then Tyler has been recieving weekly lumbar punctures and bone marrows and chemotherphy and daily taking alot of medications.

It has been a devastating time for all of the family especially for Tyler himself but he has been the most brave strong boy ever taking everything in his stride.

We would like to raise how ever much money we can possible for Tyler and his family to go away on holiday to Disney World Florida at the end of the 3years, as tyler is not allowed out of the country untill all treatment is complete. This would be the perfect trip and break that Tyler would deserve at the end of everything he will be going through.
